Etishree is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a Master of Psychology. She has a decade long experience providing individual counselling, group counselling, crisis intervention, and resource navigation with children, adults, youth and families in the community. She uses her gentle approach to connect with individuals in a trauma informed, strengths-based lens in supporting clients to recognize their own resiliency and power. She believes in creating a safe, authentic, and nonjudgmental environment to allow individuals to explore their goals, values, and strengths, and identify barriers that are causing distress in life. Etishree takes elements from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and other modalities depending on each client’s unique needs and work toward their goals. Bilingual in Hindi and English, she has a strong passion for her work and brings a natural warmth and positivity into her sessions. She believes that it is important to normalize mental health needs and de-stigmatize the process of people’s healing journeys. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, photography and listening to music.
